Manager (Engineering – Civil)
Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology in Civil Engineering.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in Civil Engineering.
Manager (Engineering – Electrical)
Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology in Electrical Engineering.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in Electrical Engineering.
Manager (Finance)
Qualification: Any one of the following:
- MBA with specialization in Finance
- PG Diploma in Management with specialization in Finance
- Cost Accountant
- Chartered Accountant
- Chartered Financial Analyst
Experience:
Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in Finance and Accounts, including working experience in ERP such as SAP for automation and financial processing.
Manager (Information Technology)
Qualification:
Full-time regular Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology in:

AAI Salary 2026
Manager
Pay Scale: ₹60,000 – 3% – ₹1,80,000
Level: Group A, E-3
Approximate CTC: ₹21 lakh per annum
Junior Executive
Pay Scale: ₹40,000 – 3% – ₹1,40,000
Level: Group B, E-1
Approximate CTC: ₹14 lakh per annum
In addition to Basic Pay, selected candidates will be eligible for benefits including:

Application Fee
Application Fee: ₹1,000 (inclusive of GST)
The application fee must be paid through online mode only.
No Application Fee for:
- SC candidates
- ST candidates
- PwBD candidates
- Women candidates
- Apprentices who have successfully completed one year of Apprenticeship Training in AAI
Bank transaction charges, if applicable, have to be borne by the candidate.
Selection Process
The selection process will begin with a Computer Based Test (CBT) for all advertised posts.
Important CBT Points
- Examination will be objective type.
- There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.
- The detailed syllabus will be published separately by AAI.
Candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance in the CBT.
The general selection process includes:
Computer Based Test → Application Verification → Subsequent Tests/Interview (where applicable) → Final Selection
Manager Posts
For Post Codes 1 to 11, the selection process will also include an Interview.
Junior Executive Posts
For Junior Executive posts, selection will be based on CBT and subsequent applicable stages/document verification as prescribed by AAI.
Manager (Fire Services)
Candidates for Manager (Fire Services) will additionally have to undergo:
- Physical Measurement Test
- Driving Test
- Physical Endurance Test
- Interview
The Physical Endurance Test includes activities such as running, casualty carrying, pole climbing, rope climbing and full ladder climbing/descending.
Important Licence Requirement
Candidates applying for:
- Manager (Operations)
- Junior Executive (Operations)
must possess a valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) Licence.
Temporary or Learner's Licences will not be accepted.
Candidates shortlisted for Manager (Fire Services) must also produce a valid permanent LMV Licence at the time of Application Verification.
Important Eligibility Conditions
- Only Indian Nationals fulfilling the eligibility criteria can apply.
- Age, qualification, experience and other eligibility conditions will be determined as on 07 September 2026.
- Candidates should apply only if the final result of the required qualification has been declared by the cut-off date.
- Candidates can apply for multiple posts, provided they satisfy the eligibility requirements.
- A separate registration and application fee, wherever applicable, is required for each post.
- Selected candidates may be posted anywhere in India.
OBC, EWS, SC/ST & PwBD Certificates
OBC (NCL)
OBC candidates claiming reservation should produce a valid OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Certificate issued during FY 2026–27 in the prescribed Central Government format.
A State Government OBC certificate or certificate issued for educational admission purposes will not be considered for this reservation.
EWS
Candidates claiming EWS reservation should possess an EWS Certificate valid for FY 2026–27 in the prescribed format.
SC/ST
The required caste certificate should have been issued by the competent authority on or before 07 September 2026.
PwBD
PwBD/PwD candidates must possess the applicable Disability Certificate issued by the competent authority as prescribed in the notification.

Important Points for Candidates
- There is no negative marking in the CBT.
- Minimum educational requirement is based on pass marks, unless otherwise specified.
- Manager posts generally require 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Junior Executive posts advertised here do not require prior work experience.
- Original certificates along with identity proof and self-attested photocopies will be required during Application Verification/Interview.
- Candidates already employed in Central Government, State Government, Autonomous Bodies or PSUs must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their present employer when required.
- Colour blindness and/or night blindness is a rejection criterion for the advertised posts except Post Codes 3 and 12, subject to the PwBD provisions mentioned in the notification.
