The present vacancy is for the general category in the Kerala State Co-operative Federation for Fisheries Development Limited (MATSYAFED).

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have:

Pass in S.S.L.C. or its equivalent.

Qualifications recognised by Government orders or standing orders as equivalent to the prescribed qualification will also be accepted, subject to the conditions specified by the Commission.

Age Limit

18–44 years

Only candidates born between 02 January 1982 and 01 January 2008, both dates inclusive, are eligible to apply.

Usual age relaxation is available to OBC and SC/ST candidates. The maximum age after applicable concessions shall not exceed 50 years, subject to the conditions in the notification.

The vacancy presently exists in MATSYAFED for the General Category.

Further vacancies reported from the Apex Societies during the currency of the Ranked List will be apportioned according to the rules specified in the notification.

Ranked List

The Ranked List prepared by the Kerala PSC will remain in force for a minimum of one year and a maximum of three years, subject to the conditions specified in the notification.

If no candidate is advised from the Ranked List until the expiry of three years, its duration may be extended by one year or until at least one candidate is advised, whichever is earlier.

Reservation

4% of vacancies will be reserved for persons with disabilities as per G.O.(P) No.5/2023/SJD dated 01/10/2023, in accordance with Section 34 of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.

How to Apply

Candidates must apply through the Kerala PSC One Time Registration (OTR) system.

1. Visit the official Kerala PSC website.
2. Candidates who have not registered must complete One Time Registration.
3. Candidates who already have a profile can log in using their User ID and Password.
4. Select the relevant notification and click “Apply Now”.
5. Verify all personal and profile details before final submission.
6. Submit the application before the closing date.
7. Keep a printout or soft copy of the submitted application for future reference.

Candidates should not create multiple profiles. The application submitted through the profile is provisional and cannot be deleted or altered after submission.

Photograph Requirements

Candidates creating a new profile should upload a photograph taken within six months.

The candidate's name and date on which the photograph was taken should be printed legibly at the bottom portion of the photograph.

Examination

If a Written/OMR/Online Test is conducted, candidates must submit confirmation through their PSC profiles within the prescribed period.

Only candidates who submit confirmation can generate and download their Admission Tickets during the period specified by the Commission.

Details regarding confirmation and Admission Tickets will be published through the Examination Calendar, candidate profiles and registered mobile numbers.

Candidates having an Aadhaar Card are advised to add Aadhaar as an ID proof in their PSC profile.

Important Instructions

Candidates who receive a profile message requiring them to upload documents must upload the documents within the prescribed time.

If there is a difference between the caste/community claimed in the application and the details in the SSLC Book, the candidate must produce the required Gazette Notification along with the applicable Non-Creamy Layer/Community Certificate during certificate verification.

Candidates are advised to read the Part II – General Conditions of the notification before applying. Applications that do not comply with the prescribed conditions are liable to be rejected.
